Due to COVID-19, Animal Welfare League has changed its policies and hours of operation. The health and safety of our staff, clients, and community is our top priority.
Our adoption process has changed; to be considered for adoption you must fill out an adoption application, include any animal that you’re interested in from our website, and turn it in to our facility. Subsequently, the adoption committee will call back to schedule an appointment after your application has been reviewed with a specific animal that you have in mind. Adoptable animals are on our website.
Our stray viewing process has changed; if you believe that your animal is at our shelter, please bring a form of: identification, proof of ownership, and any medical records of your animal.
Our clinic process has changed; the clinic opens at 8:00AM Tuesday-Saturday and serves as a first come first serve walk-in basis. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, sign-in hours are extended by availability. You must sign-in and wait outside or in your car until you are called in. Please be advised that due to high client volume, the clinic has the right to determine, subject to availability, if they can accept any further clients for that day no matter what time of day it is.
